This week, the Schwarzkopf EML Czech Republic & Slovakia 2019 Final was held at the beautiful Prague Castle, in partnership with Rowenta. The glittering Final had a fairytale quality, where elegant guests in black tie sipped champagne and listened to live jazz performances between catwalk demonstrations by the Finalists.

There were 20 Finalists competing to represent Czech Republic and Slovakia at this year’s EML World Final - 5 girls and 5 boys from each country. The Winners were Klará Binderová and Sebastián Klimeš from Czech Republic, and Charlotta Kušnírová and Andrej Chamula from Slovakia.

New Global Director of EML Marissa Surmenkow joined the jury, chaired by supermodel Daniela Peštová, alongside Director of Elite Prague & Elite Bratislava Sasha Jany, President of Women Management Piero Piazzi, Director of Elite Copenhagen Munir Bouylud, Elite Paris agents Helene Caroline Bodet and Hakim Chouadra, and Elite London agent Alice Grindley.

Guests of honour on the jury were two top models who know all too well how the 2019 Finalists were feeling that night. Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look Ambassadors Denisa Dvořáková from Czech Republic and Michaela Kocianova from Slovakia were discovered through the EML contest right at the beginning of their careers.

Fashion Show

On the runway, Finalists wore designs by Michaela, who debuted her fashion collection from a collaboration with Farah Kimia. They also wore Czech fashion designer Lukáš Macháček.
