What Went Down At London Men's Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017

In London, the top models from the Elite Model Look competition hit the runway to kick off the first round of catwalk shows for the Spring Summer 2017 season. From posing with motorbikes to looking sharp in suits, here's what went down at the fashion week known as London Collections Men.

Aladdin's cave

Danish winner from 2014 Nina Marker walked at the Bobby Abley show alongside Jason Ellis. The collection drew inspiration from the fairytale Aladdin

Happy birthday Serge!

It was Serge Rigvava's birthday right in the middle of the London shows. He turned 18! Serge won Elite Model Look for Austria in 2014 - on social media, it looked like he celebrated on Saturday night with his model mates from the 2014 Final, Bertie Pearce and Nina Marker

Clockwork orange

Simon Jorgensen, Top 5 at the World Final last November, walked in the showcase for new designer Fen Chen Wang. He walked three shows in total over the weekend.

Boy in leather

Matthew Bell also participated in the Belstaff presentation, wearing a leather top, leather trousers and leather gloves.

Pose!

Another star from the 2014 World Final, Nigeria's Mayowa Nicholas was one of the few girls selected to be part of the Belstaff presentation.

Monochrome

Get in the frame

Victor Ndigwe who also won Elite Model Look in Nigeria in 2014, was part of the Pieter presentation, wearing an open shirt and shorts. 

Fresh from the runway

Rising star of the Elite New Faces board Yasmin Wijanldum booked an exclusive for Coach - here, she poses outside the show with Jeong Yongsoo. Yasmin also just appeared in the brand's Resort 2017 look book.

Suited up

Bertie Pearce wore white for tailors Hardy Amies at the presentation in their shop, while Victor Ndigwe wore black.

Saskia Buda, who participated in Elite Model Look in Romania, poses backstage at the Christopher Raeburn show. 

Happy face

Serge and Simon pose after the Coach show. As thank you, the models got a tee shirt with an exclusive design and the show's date, and a leather Coach backpack.
