Why do you want to be a model?

I want to be a model because I love to act. I love to go in front of the camera and pretend I am the person whose clothes I am wearing. I think that it’s awesome because a single expression can convey a feeling through a picture and I love learning how to do that.

How does it feel to be a Winner of Elite Model Look 2018?

It is crazy! I don’t believe that I actually won! My agent told me when I first met her that she thought I would be good for the competition. After that I went home and researched it. Although, I never thought that it would actually happen!

Where were you scouted to be a model?

I was scouted in a Sprouts grocery store in New Mexico. I was kind of confused because I had never been called pretty before by a stranger! I am so happy and excited for the World Final of Elite Model Look but I’m also very nervous!

Who is your favourite model and why?

I love Karlie Kloss because she shows that models can be intelligent and beautiful at the same time. She is hardworking and humble which is what I aspire to be. 

At Elite Model Look we say: “your differences make our world”. What makes you different?

I think that I am different because I am always talking and happy to learn new things and to work as hard as I can. 

What is your passion?

I love to swim! The pool is the place I go to just have fun and exercise. I have been swimming for three years and I love it because I can see my friends, I can relax after a long day and because it is a great form of exercise. 

Do you have a favourite quote that inspires you to succeed?

I like the quote “The world only exists in your eyes-- your conception of it. You can make it as big or as small as you want to” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It shows that everything means something different to certain people and that you should never underestimate others.

What is your favourite…

TV show: The Office. It always make me laugh and feel good whenever I watch it.

Sport: swimming because I love being around my friends.

Singer: Taylor Swift because all of her songs are relatable in some way and its fun to jam out to some of her old songs.

Do you play a musical instrument?

Yes, I play a little bit of the piano because I love the way it sounds.

Where are you happiest?

I am happiest with my friends and family because they can always make me laugh.

If you could go anywhere in the world – where you haven’t already been – where would you go?

I would go to Paris because it seems like such a pretty place with so many things to do.

Tell us about where you are from!

I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico - it is famous for its annual balloon festival where hundreds of hot air balloons take the sky for a week! I am proud of being American because in the end we always accept people for who they are. If I had to pick one thing, I think barbeques represent America because everybody loves to get together and eat here!
