When did you first want to become a model? I decided that I wanted to start modelling when I was in high school, around three years ago.

Who are your model or fashion heroes? Ai Tominaga. She’s one of the most famous fashion models in Japan and I think she’s so cool because of how hard she worked and the effort she put in to become this successful.

What would it mean to win the contest? I see winning the contest as the first step towards building an international modelling career.

What was the last app you opened today? Instagram.

What's something most people would never guess about you? I practised Kung Fu for 10 years. 

What is a small thing that makes you happy? Playing with my dogs.

Best piece of advice you have ever been given: “Whether you succeed or fail, you are perfect just as you are.” It was my mother who told me this.

Are you in school? Yes, I'm a second year university student.

What would be your dream career if modelling did not exist? To open a Japanese restaurant overseas and introduce authentic Japanese cuisine to people around the world.

A travel memory that has stayed with you: Stepping into the Milan Cathedral was definitely an unforgettable experience.

How much do you like to prepare? I plan first and then wing it!
