Were you scouted? I was at an underground, local fashion party. While I was there meeting new people, a famous Mexican fashion photographer named Dorian Ulises Lopez Macias spotted me. We started talking and asked me if I wanted to model - he loved my look. We did a shoot and worked on a project together and that's how my modelling career kicked off.

What are you most looking forward to learning at the Elite Model Look World Final? I’m excited to discover a completely new place and meet new people; seeing the industry from a different perspective in another country really thrills me. I’m excited about the opportunity of being able to walk that runway, compete, represent Mexico with pride and show what I’m made of.

What would it mean to win the contest? It would be a way to prove to myself that it’s possible. Even just having the pleasure of making it to the final feels like breaking down a mental barrier - something that once seemed so unattainable. The fact that I can be a model is something I value deeply. Regardless of the outcome, I will continue striving to meet my goals and racking up achievements.

What was the last app you opened today? Instagram.

Three words you would use to describe yourself: Creative, clever and charismatic.

What is a small thing that makes you happy? Spending time with my cats immediately puts me in a good mood; it makes me happy to pet them, look at their little faces and give them lots of hugs - they bring me life; they are my babies.

Best piece of advice you have ever been given: A designer I admire and respect deeply, Patricio Campillo, told me: “discipline, humility and hard work are the only things that lead to success.”

Describe your personal style in one sentence: Sophisticated. 

What is a song that always lifts your mood? Kids by MGMT.

What film or TV show can you quote line for line? The Sopranos.

What is a skill you are proud of? Photography is a process I really enjoy and I feel that I have the eye for creating beautiful things.

The most spontaneous thing you have ever done: It happened just recently during the World Cup celebration. I went with my friends to the Angel of Independence and it was so much fun for me to be able to do, shout and say whatever I wanted without being judged. Being completely soaked by the rain with my friends was a truly memorable experience that will stay with me.

How phone addicted are you? My phone is always on me.

What is your coffee shop order? I always like to order a Spanish latte or a mocha with soy milk and some kind of filled pastry or something similar.

Name the top destination on your bucket list? France and Japan.
