Were you scouted? I was first scouted on Instagram when I was fifteen, but after a few meetings and thorough consideration, I decided to focus on my studies. Later, I got into acting and my friends encouraged me to give modelling another go. I realised that, alongside studying philosophy at university, acting and writing poems and short stories, modelling would be another path to explore - and I love exploring! So, I contacted Elite and they entered me into the competition.

Who are your model or fashion heroes? Probably Master Minttu! I love their decadent aesthetic and how they dismantle gender boundaries.

How did you feel when you found out you were going to the World Final? I was shocked, my thoughts stopped and it was like I could see my face from outside myself! Then everything happened so quickly: photos, interviews… it wasn’t until I got home that I fully comprehended what just happened.

What are your hobbies and interests? I love writing poems and short stories, reading (mostly classics, fantasy and weird fiction), going to art galleries, drawing, studying, board games, going to the cinema or theatre, shooting movies, acting, swimming and staying active. My interests are philosophy, psychology, death, anthropology, art, literature, logic, maths, cosmology and universe, vampires and dragons.

What's something most people would never guess about you? People are often very surprised that I wanted to be a mathematician or an astrophysicist.

Describe your personal style in one sentence: A mix of dark elegant minimalism and boundary-breaking provoking pieces. 

Name a designer you would wear head to toe! Rick Owens.

What is a trend you secretly love that you probably should not? The colourful mascara trend!

What is a song that always lifts your mood? Dream On by Aerosmith. It makes me cry, but I always feel better afterwards.

Are you in school? I’m in the second year of university.

What sports or movement make you happiest? Growing up, I loved playing basketball, but now I mostly swim. It’s like meditation for me.

Vacation - beach, mountains or city break? City break. 

Name the top destination on your bucket list? New Zealand.
