Where did you first hear about Elite Model Look? Growing up, I never really knew much about modelling agencies, but I loved pretending to be a model. I’d watch Germany’s Next Top Model, put on my mum’s shoes and strut down the hallway. As I got older, my confidence faded and I eventually forgot all about it. Then one day, my mum had the idea that I should apply to EML. She always insisted that I’d make a great model, so we sent in a few pictures just for fun. I was so surprised when they said they were interested in me. It helped me feel more confident and believe in myself.

How did you feel when you found out you were going to the World Final? At first, I could not believe it. I heard it, but was not able to fully grasp what it meant for me. Later on, the realisation kicked in and I was speechless. At the same time, I felt and still feel a lot of gratitude towards my amazing supportive family and everyone else who helped me make it to the World Final.

Who are your model or fashion heroes? My mum! I’ve lost count of the number of times she’s saved me from disastrous fashion choices!

Do you believe in star signs? As I am writing this, my mum is reading the characteristics of my sign. I was about to say that I do not believe in star signs - I think I was really wrong, the descriptions are surprisingly fitting!

What's something most people would never guess about you? People are always very surprised to hear that I sing opera. I used to take normal singing lessons but switched because I got bored and wanted to try something new and challenging.

What is a small thing that makes you happy? Seeing my cat Grizzy. No matter the situation, as soon as I spot him somewhere in the house I get this really big smile on my face. It is almost like a reflex, I can't help it!

What is one item in your wardrobe you would save from a fire? The saree my uncle gifted me. Sadly, he passed away recently.

Are you in school? I just finished my 11th year, only two more years to go! 

What sports or movement make you happiest? Jogging, yoga, badminton and dancing.

A moment that changed how you see yourself: This year, I was invited to join my school's gifted pupil programme! I went from being an average middle schooler to a top high school student. It made me realise that, after many years of struggling, all my hard work was finally paying off and that I can do anything if I put my mind to it!

How phone addicted are you? I go off the grid when I can. 

What is your coffee shop order? A latte with lactose-free milk.
