From Chile to the Caribbean, each national final has taken on the local colour and customs of the country in which it took place. Yet one constant has remained: for a girl to move forward, she has to be approved by Elite’s jury of fashion professionals – numbering media stars, stylists and makeup artists, and of course an expert from Elite. So, who will be making the most important decision of all at next week’s World Final?

Drumroll please! For the 28th Elite Model Look World Final, the jury is composed of:

1.Noémie Lenoir, top model
In 1995, the French model and actress signed with L'Oréal and a star was born. She has worked for Victoria’s Secret, Gap, Next, and for four years she was the face of UK high-street retailer Marks & Spencer, upping the glamour of their campaigns. Fans of musician Usher will recognise her from starring in one of his videos. As a working Elite model, Lenoir is au fait with just what it takes to make it in the business, so what will the insider reckon of this year’s line-up?

2. Sun Zhe, Editor-in-chief of Grazia China
Mr. Sun Zhe spearheaded the launch of fashion glossy Grazia in China. When it launched in 2009, Grazia China was the first fortnightly in the country, and it’s now one of the most dominant media outlets in female Chinese fashion. In terms of designers, Sun Zhe is known to rate Qui Hao, Lu Kun and Ma Ke – but which finalists will he judge to have equal talent and potential?

3. Vick Mihaci, President Elite Management Worldwide
Elite's man on the jury started out in the luxury industry before founding an agency dedicated to developing brands' images across the world. With over 15 years experience in the development and discovery of talent, the industry veteran is known for his expert eye and exclusive insider knowledge. So who will he think has the talent to make it as Elite's next top model?

While the prominent trio will be making the critical decision this year on the final three – including the ultimate winner – they’ll have help from 50 of Elite’s top international agents. Descending on Shanghai as we speak, the agents will watch the girls for the first time tomorrow during rehearsals for the final show. On Monday, we’ll go behind the scenes of their panel with the finalists: a decisive moment when each selects their top 15 (and top 7) according to their potential to work in the agent's particular market. The result won't be revealed until the night of the final, so in the meantime, cross your fingers, and wish the girls luck!
