Spanish model and actress Ines Sastre began life in the limelight at the tender age of 12 when she was cast in a fast food advertisement. At 16, with her first film already behind her, Ines entered and won the Elite Model Look World Final in Paris, 1989. But the studious gamin delayed her career for three years while she completed a degree in French Literature at the Sorbonne in Paris. In addition to Spanish, Ines also speaks French, Italian and English.

Ines appeared on the catwalk for iconic fashion houses including Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Michael Kors, Herve Leger, Lanvin and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Her magazine covers include: Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Rolling Stone, Glamour, GQ and Cosmopolitan. She has been the face of prestigious campaigns including Max Factor, Clarins, Clinique and L’Oréal. In 1995 she appeared in the critically acclaimed film Beyond the Clouds, appearing alongside John Malkovich and Fanny Ardant. Her career hightlight was when she was chosen to replace beauty icon Isabella Rossellini as the face Lancôme in 1996.



Today Sastre, who is highly celebrated in her own country, continues to model as she cares for her young son, Diego. Ines’ humanitarian works include her role as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, in which capacity she met with the Dalai Lama in 1992. Her recent campaigns include Lancôme and iconic jewellers Tiffany & Co.
